PROJECT MANAGER

Function Purpose:
Manage and take accountability for delivering projects according to customers’ needs and AGS strategy and processes

Main Activities:
- Contribute to the project Business case : feasibility inputs, sizing, deadlines
- Plan projects steps, customize project approach, prepare quality plan
- Drive Detail Design, Technical design, Build and Tests activities
- Prepare BAU Handover

- Manage customer relationship throughout the project and ensure continuous reporting to steering committee (risk analysis, issues management, progress status)

- Define the budget for the project; take accountability for P&L

- Liaise with team members’ manager and provide feedback with regards to performance and competencies issues

Related Functions:
This role includes the PMO activities and Change management activities whenever there is no dedicated PMO/ Change Manager identified on the project.

 

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICER (PMO)

Function Purpose:
Support the Program/Project Manager by monitoring projects and ensuring successful operational delivery (planning and organization)

Main Activities:
- Anticipate and monitor resources (HR, logistics, budget…) deployment throughout the project
- Manage the project’s plan and planning
- Implement AGS project management standards, methodologies and tools
- Warn and follow-up risk issues on the project
- Ensure the preparation of reporting and project’s documentation including preparation of Steering Committees.
- Collect the data on metrics (KPI…) and provides QA with project’s evidences

- Be the main point of contact for supports functions (procurement, controlling, QA…)

- Monitor budget, reporting and invoicing processes

 

 

SOLUTION MANAGER

Function Purpose :
Design, sell and build one or several of AGS solutions (shared services, CoE, factory…) to drive convergence within business

Main Activities :
- Plan, articulate and prioritize solution services and define the operating model.
- Organize selling plans, prioritize prospects and country integration plans
- Build assets and tools to ensure a better productivity and industrialisation (notably through offshore)
- Monitor performance

- Convince and influence network of stakeholders (CIOs or CIOs direct reports) to use the Solution. Manage the long term relationship.

- Define budget and maintain pricing model for each country/stakeholder.

- Ensure people management, in particular individual development and knowledge management

 

 

ARCHITECT

Function Purpose :
Design the Solution Architecture (i.e. Functional, Application & Technical Architecture) while ensuring that:
- it will meet all business requirements
- it will be scalable, agile, sustainable, reusable and secure.
- it will fit perfectly fit into the overall IS Architecture

Main Activities :
- Write the General and Details Architecture Design documents for each solution
- Ensure the completeness and consistency of the overall solution from a functional, application & technical standpoint.
- Design an appropriate Integration Architecture with regards to the Integration guiding principles and patterns.
- Select appropriate tools and technologies
- Identify new building blocks and leverage the reuse of existing one
- Define best practices, standards and guidelines

- Manage the relationship with other architects involved within the IT solution perimeter.

 

 

BUSINESS/ TECHNICAL ANALYST

Function Purpose :
Analyze business needs and provide functional/technical inputs to deliver IT solution in terms of requirements and specifications.

Main Activities :
- Qualify the changes requested for the solution

- Projects: Drive business cases, conduct opportunity studies, understand Business Value of requirements, propose Core / standard answers
- Small changes: investigate requests, administrate the portfolio, prepare Change Board committee, provide advisory role to Process Owners

- Validate Solutions and release Plans before launching UAT and deployments
- Participate to solution delivery

- Manage customer relationship for these activities.
- Liaise with AXA Tech to update landscapes, analyze system performance, solve technical incidents

- Provide support to the development teams, coordinate project deliveries.

 

 

CHANGE MANAGER

Function Purpose :
Evaluate change requirements and provides leadership to plan, manage and implement significant IT led business change

Main Activities :
- Assess the implications of the project and identify change impacts
- Manage the deployment of change taking into account structural and cultural issues ( define change management, communication, training and deployment plans)
- Maintain business and process continuity throughout change, monitoring the impact, taking any required remedial action and refining approach
- Organize end-users support during the ”Go live” phase
- Contribute to the project delivery on OTOBOSOQOB

- Ensure the relationship with change stakeholders. Manage a network of change agents when required
